TTIP Update

The next round of TTIP voting, set for this afternoon, has been postponed! It has been suggested that this is in part due to the many amendments sought by MEPs.

Following the TUC’s call yesterday, the European Labour Paty is backing Jude Kirton-Darling’s Amendment 27* which would explicitly reject ISDS in TTIP.

* Amendment 27 – opposes special privileges for foreign investors by excluding Investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS).
